¾¨Ó㴫ý is offering "Government Communications: A Workshop on Dealing with the Media" Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 4 p.m. in the McKelvey Campus Center Theater.
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Office of Continuing Education is offering a two-day course in Microsoft Publisher Monday and Wednesday, March 26 and 28 from 6-8 p.m in Patterson Hall room 214.
Two ¾¨Ó㴫ý senior music education majors, Amber Cole and Brian Pollitt, will give a recital Sunday, Oct. 13, at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.
Lurene McDonald, freshman public relations major at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, recently received the Eugene and Nell Petrucci Scholarship.
Tenor William McCullough, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý music performance major from DuBois, will present his junior capstone recital Saturday, March 31, at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.

Four members of the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) group competed and placed third in a financial case study competition Nov. 1-3 in Virginia Beach, Va.




Fourteen ¾¨Ó㴫ý faculty recently received promotions.

A book review written by Dr. Patricia Clark, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of history, was published in the winter 2008 issue of the Canadian Journal of History.
Thirty-five ¾¨Ó㴫ý students met the requirements for graduation in December.



The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Art Gallery will host Martha Ressler for an image talk on her work Thursday, Oct. 7, at 6 p.m. in room 215 Patterson Hall. The talk is free and open to the public.
