Nancy Martin, a 1975 ¾¨Ó㴫ý graduate and Pittsburgh native, releases her first mystery book, How to Murder a Millionaire, Oct. 1.
Dr. Neil Diamant, an associate professor of political science and East Asian studies at Dickinson College and an associate for the Asian Studies Program at the University of Pittsburgh, will discuss the war in Lebanon as part of the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Peace Studies Coffeehouse Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 4:15 p.m. in the Berlin Student Lounge of the McKelvey Campus Center.
More than 150 students from area junior and senior high schools competed in the regional competition of History Day at ¾¨Ó㴫ý March 27.

¾¨Ó㴫ý's Celebrity Series will feature Marie Osmond performing "The Magic of Christmas" at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, in Orr Auditorium.

Kelly Lake, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý sophomore English major, received a travel/presentation grant from ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning to present her original short story at the 24th annual National Undergraduate Literature Conference April 2-4 in Ogden, Utah.


Four ¾¨Ó㴫ý mathematics faculty attended the annual Joint Mathematics Meetings of the American Mathematical Society (AMS) and the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) Jan. 13-16 in San Francisco.
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Celebrity Series will welcome award-winning singer/songwriter Amy Grant for a sold-out performance Saturday, Oct. 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The show is sponsored by First National Bank.

¾¨Ó㴫ý junior political science major Katelyn Moga was among 135 students from 30 states honored as Newman Civic Fellows by Campus Compact.Â


¾¨Ó㴫ý's planetarium will offer five full-dome shows and two special lectures for the spring semester.
