The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Art Gallery, currently featuring the alumni art show, offers a variety of art styles today through June 29. The gallery, located in Patterson Hall, is open Monday-Saturday, 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

Dorothy the Dinosaur's Dance Party, featuring the Wiggles' best friends, will perform Thursday, Oct. 26, at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium at ¾¨Ó㴫ý.

Dr. David Cushman, ¾¨Ó㴫ý professor of economics, recently presented a paper, "The Unlikely Unit Root in U.S. Real GDP," at the Eastern Economic Association Conference in New York.

The Winter 2008 issue of the Journal of Medieval and Early Modern Studies includes the article "Gifts for the Bride: Dowries, Diplomacy, and Marriage Politics in Muscovy" written by Dr. Russell Martin, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of history.
Dr. Suzanne Prestien, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of English and public relations, will speak on "Homer and Hesiod: The Greek Classics in the Modern College Classroom" at Faires Faculty Forum Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 11:40 a.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater in the McKelvey Campus Center.
¾¨Ó㴫ý celebrated academic excellence at the annual Honors Convocation April 25 in Orr Auditorium.
Two ¾¨Ó㴫ý junior mathematics majors participated in the 12th annual regional Student Paper Meeting Feb. 27, hosted by the Ohio XI Chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon at Youngstown (Ohio) State University.

Andy Borts, ¾¨Ó㴫ý instructional media technician; Dr. Keith Corso, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of communication studies; and Brad Weaver, ¾¨Ó㴫ý lecturer of broadcast communications, attended "The New Mobile Pedagogy" seminar Oct. 27 in Mars, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Bethany Hicok, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of English, presented a paper at the Global Studies Conference July 18-20 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Dr. Shannon Smithey, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of political science, will present "Crime and Public Support for Democracy in Latin American and Africa" at Faires Faculty Forum Wednesday, April 4, at 11:40 a.m. in McKelvey Campus Center's Sebastian Mueller Theater.
