The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Career Center recently hosted an etiquette dinner and dress for success style show for students.
"The purpose of the evening was to offer valuable insights into proper behavior when interviewing during a meal, and a look at the type of clothing that is appropriate in the workplace," said Jackie Meade, director of the Career Center at ¾¨Ó㴫ý.
During dinner Dr. Cary W. Horvath, assistant professor of communication studies at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, presented tips on "Etiquette for the Business Meal."
The meal was followed with 20 ¾¨Ó㴫ý students modeling clothes and shoes from Liz Claiborne, Haggar, Joseph A. Bank Clothiers, Brooks Brothers, Elizabeth, Rockport, and Shoebilee.
"I really want to thank the members of SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) whose assistance with the dinner and style show was invaluable," said Meade.
