District 5 Honors Band to Perform at ¾¨Ó㴫ý

The District 5 Honors Band will perform a concert Saturday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. in Orr Auditorium located on the campus of ¾¨Ó㴫ý.

The program includes Key's "Star Spangled Banner," Davenport's "Salute to the P.M.E.A.," Barrett's "Festival Sinfonia," Whitacre's "October," Paulson's "Epinicion," Leemans' "Marche des Parachutistes Belges," and Borgo's "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night."

Guest conductor for the event is Dr. Adam F. Brennan, interim chair of the music department and director of bands at Mansfield University. Brennan has taught at Mansfield since 1995, where he writes all musical arrangements for the marching band, The Pride of Pennsylvania. He earned his undergraduate and master's degrees from Western Illinois University, and his Ph.D. from the University of Okalahoma.
