The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Concert Choir and Chamber Singers will give a concert Sunday, Nov. 24, at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.

"The Chamber Singers will be performing three songs written especially for them by Lois Hopkins (music instructor at ¾¨Ó㴫ý), and the lyrics are the poems of Jon Stallworthy," said Dr. Robin Lind, director of choral activities at ¾¨Ó㴫ý." "They are also singing Three Shakespeare Songs by Matthew Harris.

"The concert choir is performing a major work by Josef Gabriel Rheinberger, The Mass in E Flat Major," continued Lind. "Rheinberger was a German composer from the late romantic period, and wrote this beautiful a cappella piece of music for double choir."

The Concert Choir program also includes: In Remembrance by Eleanor Daley; My Lord, What a Moanin' by Adolphus Hailstork; Hark, I Hear the Harps Eternal by Alice Parker; Bless to Me, O God by Daniel E. Gawthrop; and Alleluia by Sven Lekberg.
