¾¨Ó㴫ý Faculty Report on "Teaching Students with Disabilities"

Posted on Friday, September 6, 2002

Amy Camardese, instructor of education at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, will present "Teaching Students with Disabilities" at Faculty Forum, Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 11:30 a.m. in Patterson Hall room 311.

Camardese worked on this presentation with the help of Joyce Hoellein, coordinator of K-12 Collaborative Program and part-time education instructor, and Dr. Neal Edman, dean of student affairs.

"Our topic deals with what is a reasonable accommodation,'" said Camardese. "Information regarding the laws will be shared, and vignettes will be preformed to illustrate teaching situations that may occur regarding reasonable accommodations."

Camardese, who joined ¾¨Ó㴫ý in 2001, earned her undergraduate degree from Ohio University, and her M.Ed from the University of Pittsburgh.
