"I came to work for the Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County, S.C. as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer in August of 2002. After working her for a few months, I discovered that ¾¨Ó㴫ý had visited our affiliate during Collegiate Challenge 2000," said Butcheri. "That alone seemed a great irony, so imagine my surprise yesterday when I overheard co-workers talking about an unexpected check from ¾¨Ó㴫ý. That's my alma mater!' I told them."
"I knew that ¾¨Ó㴫ý was an exceptional school during my four years there," continued Butcheri. "I see that the unique characteristics that made the school so special and magical to me continue on."
"I was very moved by the connection to ¾¨Ó㴫ý," said Keturah Laney, chapel assistant at ¾¨Ó㴫ý. "It's a good reminder that we're doing something right and that the people here at ¾¨Ó㴫ý do make a lasting difference in people's lives."
