A staff of 13 ¾¨Ó㴫ý students will produce the Wilmington versus Sharon football game of the week on the Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN), which will air Saturday, Oct. 21 at 9 p.m.
"I am very pleased that ¾¨Ó㴫ý has been chosen to produce the game of the week on PCN, which reaches about three million homes across the state," said Dr. David Barner, chair of the Department of Communication Studies, Theatre, and Art at ¾¨Ó㴫ý. "¾¨Ó㴫ý is one of the few colleges in Pennsylvania to produce games on a weekly basis."
¾¨Ó㴫ý has produced the game of the week three other times for PCN and is the only college producing such a broadcast this year. All other productions are by cable providers and television stations.
Barner will lend support as will Chuck Chirozzi, chief engineer at ¾¨Ó㴫ý.
