¾¨Ó㴫ý students have a unique opportunity to take part in "Speed Networking" with alumni in business Wednesday, Feb. 7; science Tuesday, Feb. 13; and education Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Witherspoon Rooms of the McKelvey Campus Center.
About 30 ¾¨Ó㴫ý alumni in the business, science, and education fields will meet with current ¾¨Ó㴫ý students. After introductions, the students will be able to: ask questions of the alumni about the options of their majors; ask advice on how to land a job; and ask what type of internship is most beneficial. After about five minutes, a bell will ring, and the students will move on to question the next alumni. When all students have finished talking to all alumni representatives, a dessert reception will be held to give students and alumni more time for follow-up conversations.
The event is sponsored by the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Student Alumni Association in conjunction with the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Alumni Office. Contact Bridget Roth, a sophomore public relations major from Pittsburgh and publicity committee chair of the Student Alumni Association, at rothbe@westminster.edu for more information.
