Senior to Give Capstone Recital

Tracy Hefner, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý senior music education major, will perform her capstone cello recital Saturday, April 14, at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.

Hefner, a daughter of Douglas and Elaine Hefner from Baden, is a graduate of North Allegheny High School. While at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, she has been involved with the College orchestra, the concert choir, and the hand bell choir. Hefner is president of ¾¨Ó㴫ý's karate club and serves on the Chapel staff.

Her program includes Bach's Unaccompanied Suite No. 3, Haydn's Concerto in C Major and Trio No. 1, and an arrangement by Jay Rouse titled Come, Ye Sinners, Poor and Needy with the following six choir members: Stephanie Witzorreck, a sophomore music eduaction major from Jamestown; Christopher Granger, a freshman history major from Warren; Craig Dressler, a senior religion and music major from Erie; Stephen Sumpter, a senior business administration major from Hanover; Emily Burke, a sophomore music education major from Chardon, OH; and Amber Kunder, a senior music education and elementary education major from Poland, OH. Burke and Kunder will provide flute accompaniment for Trio No. 1.
