Dr. Darwin Huey, ¾¨Ó㴫ý professor of education and director of the graduate program, will share experiences from his sabbatical leave at Faculty Forum Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 11:40 a.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater in the McKelvey Campus Center. The event is free and open to the public.
The presentation will address his sabbatical journey through personal matters, reflections, quotations, reading, the search for "it," the pyramid of pedagogy, and the Barnabas Book.
Huey has been with ¾¨Ó㴫ý since 1976. He earned his undergraduate and master's degrees from ¾¨Ó㴫ý and his Ed.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
Faculty Forum, established in 1990, serves as a venue for the exchange of ideas and information among ¾¨Ó㴫ý faculty. Speakers present their research, teaching ideas, lectures, performances, special programs, and uses of technology to keep faculty informed about the work of colleagues from many disciplines.
