¾¨Ó㴫ý hosted the fall meeting of the West Virginia Philosophical Society Oct. 5 and 6.
Conference participants came from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, and New York, and included faculty and students.
Dr. David Goldberg, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of philosophy, presented "Abir Taha's Hideous Masking of Nietzsche."
Goldberg, who has been with ¾¨Ó㴫ý since 2002, earned his undergraduate and master's degrees from The Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. from Duquesne University.
Alexander Stubenbort, a senior philosophy major and a son of Joseph and Stephanie Stubenbort of Monroeville, presented "The Bible Tells Me So."
Patrick Mooney from John Carroll University gave the keynote speech, "A Night at the Aporia: The Scientific Significance of Impasse in Plato's Socratic Dialogues."
