Theatre ¾¨Ó㴫ý will present Quilters in four performances Thursday-Sunday, April 17-20, in Beeghly Theater.
Curtain time Thursday-Saturday is 7:30 p.m.; Sunday's matinee is at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are available by calling the Box Office (724-946-7241). Prices for non-¾¨Ó㴫ý adults are $7, and senior citizens and non-¾¨Ó㴫ý students are $5.
The musical celebrates those hearty pioneer women who turned a domestic craft into a native form of autobiographical art. Seven women will tell their stories in song and scenes about the joys and hardships of settling the Old West.
Cast members are Danielle Adams, Claudia Brown, Sonia Firster, Tracy Harmon, Jennifer Schindler, Alicia Tansey, and Stephanie Witzorreck.
Theatre ¾¨Ó㴫ý's production is under the direction of Eileen Hendrickson, ¾¨Ó㴫ý visiting instructor of theatre. Michael Slane, ¾¨Ó㴫ý instructor of theatre, is scenic designer and technical director.
Students in two ¾¨Ó㴫ý theatre courses are responsible for set construction and will serve as ushers.
