The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Preschool Lab celebrated the "Week of the Young Child" with a Parents Night April 1 in Old 77.
Brooke Tokar and Mimi Gamble, parent representatives, coordinated age-appropriate activities designed for three- and four-year-olds in the program.
A parents committee provided carnival snacks, helped set up, and assisted with activities. Thirty-two families enjoyed the evening that included a bouncer machine, face painting, and family photos.
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Preschool Lab, established in 1990, is a multi-purpose facility that serves the College and community.
Designed by early childhood experts, the laboratory school incorporates innovative curriculum, well trained staff, developmentally appropriate equipment, and individual attention. Under the direction of Dr. Mandy Medvin, ¾¨Ó㴫ý professor and Gibson-Drinko Distinguished Chair of Psychology, and teachers Deborah Roud and Diana Reed, the preschool is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs.
