Kristen Enterline, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý senior biology major, received an undergraduate research grant from ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
Her research, "Suppression of Ampicillin Resistance in Escherichia coli using siHybrid to Initiate RNA Interference," is advised by Dr. Joshua Corrette-Bennett, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of biology.

"An important component of the work of the Drinko Center is to enhance opportunities for undergraduate research," said Dr. Terri Lenox, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of computer science and co-director of the Drinko Center. "The Undergraduate Research Initiative provides funding for students to conduct research and to present their research at regional and national conferences."
All grant recipients have the opportunity to participate in ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Undergraduate Research Symposium in April.
