"The Constellations of Spring" will be presented at 8 p.m. April 30-May 2 and May 5 and 7 with an additional presentation May 2 at 6 p.m. in the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Planetarium, room 116 of the Hoyt Science Resources Center.
Thomas Oberst, ¾¨Ó㴫ý instructor of physics, will lead a discussion of the stars and planets in the spring sky. The audience will learn how to read star charts and find direction by the stars. Stories and myths behind the constellations will be shared.
Rooftop stargazing will follow the 8 p.m. shows, weather permitting.
The program is free and open to the public. However, reservations are necessary due to limited seating.
