¾¨Ó㴫ý's Peace Studies program will host the national tour of Invisible Children Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. in the Witherspoon Rooms of the McKelvey Campus Center. The event is free and open to the public.
In 2003, three young Americans traveled to Africa in search of a story that could change the world. What they found was a tragedy involving the children of northern Uganda and the effects of a 20-year war on those children.
Invisible Children, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 and dedicated to providing financial resources for those children by documenting their true and untold stories in a creative and relevant way, resulting in positive change.
