Christopher Granger, ¾¨Ó㴫ý senior music education major, will present a piano recital Sunday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.
The program includes Bach's "Prelude and Fugue XV in G major, BWV 884," Mozart's "Sonata in C minor, K. 457," Ravel's "Jeux D'eau" ("Water Games"), and Chopin's "Ballade No. 1 in G minor, Op. 23."
Granger is a son of Jon and Janet Granger of Warren and a graduate of Youngsville High School.
Granger is a member of the Titan Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Theta Chi fraternity, Mu Phi Epsilon music honorary, Pennsylvania Collegiate Music Educators Association (PCMEA), ¾¨Ó㴫ý Historic Organ Program, and Student ¾¨Ó㴫ý Admissions Team. He is the accompanist for the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Concert Choir and Chamber Singers, serves as organist and choirmaster at Forest Avenue Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, and was selected one of three Young Conductors to perform with ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Wind Ensemble.
