Music Professor to Participate in National Conference

Dr. R. Tad Greig, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor and chair of the Department of Music, will moderate a session on sacred music programs at the annual meeting of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) Nov. 20-23 in San Diego.

The NASM is the primary accrediting agency for collegiate music programs throughout the United States.

As ¾¨Ó㴫ý's director of bands, Greig oversees the Titan Marching Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble; teaches music education, band literature, and advanced conducting; and assists with student teacher observation.

Greig, who joined the ¾¨Ó㴫ý faculty in 1995, earned an undergraduate degree from Grove City College, master's from Youngstown State University, and Ph.D. from Kent State University.
