¾¨Ó㴫ý recently received a million-dollar bequest from the estate of 1945 alumna Betty Naugle Parisen.
A portion of the bequest will establish the Betty J. Parisen Memorial Scholarship Fund to provide scholarship assistance to students with demonstrated financial need and academic merit.
Mrs. Parisen earned an undergraduate degree in business administration from ¾¨Ó㴫ý and a master's in education from the University of Pittsburgh. A business teacher, she retired from the Pittsburgh Public Schools.
"¾¨Ó㴫ý is grateful to Mrs. Parisen for her generosity and the opportunities her gift will provide for future generations of students," said Vice President for Institutional Advancement Gloria Cagigas.
