¾¨Ó㴫ý senior English majors were honored at the final Bleasby Colloquium of the academic year May 6 in the Witherspoon Lakeview Room of the McKelvey Campus Center.

The five students read from the critical or creative sections of their capstone projects, which is the final component of the Liberal Studies curriculum at ¾¨Ó㴫ý. The capstone is a course within the major designed to provide an opportunity for students to evaluate and assess the strengths and limitations of their major field.

All of the students were advised by Dr. David Swerdlow and Dr. Richard Sprow, ¾¨Ó㴫ý professors of English.

This colloquium is part of the George Bleasby Colloquia, a series of literary events presented by ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Department of English and Public Relations in honor of the late Dr. Bleasby, who chaired the Department of English at ¾¨Ó㴫ý from 1954-75.
