Dr. Kirk Lunnen, assistant professor of psychology at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, will present "Patients are from Mars, Psychotherapists are from Venus: Everything You Did or Didn't Want to Know About Psychotherapy" Wednesday, March 2, at 11:45 a.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater located in the McKelvey Campus Center.
"I'll be discussing the history of psychotherapy, contemporary studies of psychotherapy outcome, and psychotherapy research conducted by ¾¨Ó㴫ý students," Lunnen said.
Lunnen, who has been with ¾¨Ó㴫ý since 2002, earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his master's and Ph.D. from Ohio University.
Faculty forum, established in 1990, serves as a venue for the exchange of ideas and information among ¾¨Ó㴫ý faculty.Ìý Speakers present their research, teaching ideas, lectures, performances, special programs, and uses of technology to keep faculty informed about the work of colleagues from many disciplines.
