The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Symphonic Band will present a mid-winter concert Friday, Feb. 18, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The program is free and open to the public.
Selections include: "Sky Dance" and "Confluence (Allegheny Lament and Dance of the Monongahela)" by Richard Saucedo; "Elegy for a Young American" by Ronald Lo Presti; "Caccia and Chorale" by Clifton Williams; "Dusk" by Stephen Bryant; Alfred Reed's arrangement of "March ‘Grandioso'" by Roland Seitz; and Reed's "Alleluia! Laudamus Te."
The band is under the direction of Dr. R. Tad Greig, associate professor and director of bands, who serves as chair of ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Department of Music.Â
