Posted on Monday, February 28, 2005

¾¨Ó㴫ý is hosting its 15th annual "Lil' Sibs Weekend" Friday-Sunday, March 11-13.  The event allows ¾¨Ó㴫ý students to share their college experience with younger siblings, cousins, or friends.

Registration, picture buttons, games, and face painting kick off the "Luau" weekend on Friday from 4-8 p.m. in the Club Room of the McKelvey Campus Center. Students and siblings then have the opportunity to attend ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Dance Theatre production in Orr Auditorium or enjoy showings of "Finding Neverland" and "The Passion of the Christ" in the Mueller Theater.  Alpha Phi Omega will hold a Retro Dance from 9-11 p.m. in the McKelvey Club Room. From 11 p.m.-2a.m., students and siblings will be able to attend Titan's Tavern, also in the Club Room, where they will enjoy free refreshments, a dart tournament, and karaoke.

Saturday activities begin at 10 a.m. with the Panhellenic Easter Egg Hunt in the quad and the Alpha Phi Omega story hour in the McKelvey Campus Center at 11 a.m. Afternoon activities provide the opportunity to cheer on the ¾¨Ó㴫ý baseball team at a home game, attend a swim party, or participate in the High School Luau.  Following dinner in the dining hall, participants again have the opportunity to view movies in the Mueller Theater and to attend the Rockin' for the Troops Concert in the Club Room.  Evening activities continue with Night Owl Bowling from 10 p.m.-1 a.m.

Activities conclude on Sunday with Easter Vespers in the chapel at 7 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the Campus Programming Committee of ¾¨Ó㴫ý.  For more information, contact Megan Swank, Lil' Sibs coordinator, at (724) 946-7418 or the CPC office at (724) 946-7057.
