Cory Seese, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý senior environmental science major, received the Helen R. Ferguson Scholarship for excellence in environmental science.
The award was presented by the Bartramian Audubon Society at its monthly meeting May 9 at Jennings Environmental Education Center.
Seese is a son of Timothy and Linda Seese of New Paris and a graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School.
"Cory is a diligent and hard-working student," said Dr. Helen Boylan, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of chemistry. "He not only studies the environment, but he also is an avid outdoorsman who values the environment. We thank Helen Ferguson and the Bartramian Audubon Society for their generous support of ¾¨Ó㴫ý environmental science students."
Boylan and Dr. Kerri Duerr, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of biology, attended the award presentation.
