The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Chamber Singers and Concert Choir will present "Music is the Gladness of the World" Sunday, Nov. 13, at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public.
Under the direction of Dr. Robin Lind, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of music and director of choral activities, the Chamber Singers are accompanied by Daniel Goffus and Jessica Kimbell accompanies the Concert Choir.
The Concert Choir's program includes: Giammateo Asola's "O Altitudo"; "Freut euch und jubiliert" by Sethus Calvisius; "O Vos Omnes" by Pablo Caslas; Roger Quilter's "Not Unto Us O Lord"; Brad Holmes' arrangement of "Noel" by Todd Smith, featuring Cody Floyd on percussion; "This Still Room" by Jonathan Adams; "The Choir Invisible" by David Childs; Andrew Bleckner's arrangement of "I Will Run and Not Grow Weary" by Lowell LaTerza Booth; and Moses Hogan's arrangement of "I Can Tell the World."
The Chamber Singers will present: Orlando Di Lasso's "I Know a Young Maiden"; Lee Dengler's "Things That Never Die"; "A Rose in the Deeps of My Heart" by Jonathan Adams; and Vincent D'Indy's "Compère Guillery."
Lind, who has been with ¾¨Ó㴫ý since 2000, earned her undergraduate degree from the College of Idaho, a master's from the University of Oregon, and Ph.D. from the University of Utah.
