Opera ¾¨Ó㴫ý will present "Infamous Infatuations" Saturday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The program is free and open to the public.
¾¨Ó㴫ý students will perform scenes from The Tales of Hoffmann, The Marriage of Figaro, Cosi fan tutte, La Traviata, La Boheme, and The Barber of Seville.
¾¨Ó㴫ý faculty assisting in the production are Dr. John Bonomo, associate professor of computer science, in the role of Don Alfonso in Cosi fan tutte, and Dr. Larry Miller, associate professor of chemistry, in the Soldier's Chorus.
The event is coordinated by stage director Dr. Anne Hagan Bentz, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of music. ¾¨Ó㴫ý adjunct music faculty Marie Libal-Smith is pianist and an orchestra of ¾¨Ó㴫ý faculty, students, and guest musicians will provide instrumental support.
