¾¨Ó㴫ý Orchestra to Present Christmas Concert Dec. 4

The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Orchestra will present a Christmas concert Sunday, Dec. 4, at 3 p.m. at Orr Auditorium.

 Under the direction of Jonathan Moser, the orchestra will perform Strauss' "Radetzky March;" Handel's "Angels We Have Heard on High;" Chase's "Around the World at Christmas Time;" Custer's "Canadian Brass Christmas;" Anderson's "Christmas Festival;" Nelson's "Frosty the Snowman;" Gold's "I'll Be Home for Christmas;" and Sousa & Pierepont's "Jingle Bells Forever."

 Guest soloists Dr. Anne Bentz and William Ambert will sing selections from Handel's "Messiah," while the orchestra provides accompaniment.  The Orchestra will also play Suite No. 1, Op. 71a from Tschaikowsky's "The Nutcracker," and Torme's "Christmas Song - Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire."
