Fourteen members of the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Residence Life staff, including 10 students, attended the Mid-Atlantic Association of Colleges & University Housing Officers conference at The Pennsylvania State University.
"This conference specifically targeted issues resident assistants and other student staff might face on the job," said Matthew Shaffer, assistant director of residence life at ¾¨Ó㴫ý. "Topics included programming, mediation, diversity, student conduct, and other related concerns. For the professional staff, there were a variety of round table discussions on topics such as housing concerns, Internet stalking, door locks, and hall governance."
