Dr. Elizabeth Harrison, assistant professor of music and college organist at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, will give an Advent and Christmas organ concert Monday, Nov. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.
"My program includes: Dietrich Buxtehude's Magnificat Primi Toni; Johann Sebastian Bach's Prelude and Fugue in C Major, BWV 545; Pastorale in F Major, BWV 590; Nun komm' der heiden Heiland, BWV 659; Wachet auf, ruf' uns die Stimme, BWV 645; Marcel Dupré's Improvisation on Adeste Fidelis; Alexandre Guilmant's Offertoire (No. 3) sur le Noël: Joseph est bien marié; Offertoire Noël Ècossais, and others," Harrison said. "It's going to be a really fun concert with some familiar tunes and great organ sounds."
Harrison, who has been with ¾¨Ó㴫ý since 2000, earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University, her masters' from Southern College and New England Conservatory, and her D.M.A. from Stanford University.
