Sheila Barnhart, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý sophomore music performance major, will present a piano recital Monday, Dec. 5, at 7:30 p.m.
Her program includes "Sonata in E-flat Major, Hob. XVI/52" by Franz Joseph Haydn, "Nocturne in C Minor, Op. 48 No. 1" by Frederic Chopin, and "Sonata in A Minor, Op. 28" by Sergei Prokofiev.
Barnhart is a daughter of Rick and Darleen Barnhart, New Freeport, and a graduate of West Green High School. She is a member of the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Women's Chorus, and will joint the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Concert Choir in the spring. She has participated in the Titan Marching Band and the pit orchestras from "Kiss Me Kate" and "Carmen." Barnhart is also a teacher for the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Intern Teaching Program. She actively participates in chamber music on campus and accompanies regularly.
