Senior Music Major to Give Recital

Darci Kuhlber, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý senior music education major, will give a voice recital Friday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m. at Wallace Memorial Chapel.

 Kuhlber, an alto, will sing Liuzzi's "Laude e I primardi delta melodia italiana" accompanied on the harp by Sara Gold, a junior music education major from Owatonna, Minn.  Her program continues with Handel's "Arie des Admeto;" Schumann's "Wenn ich in deine Augen seh;" Williams' "The Sky Above the Roof;" de Falla's "Siete Canciones populares Espanolas;" Brown's "Still Hurting;" and Debussy's "Beau Soir" and "Mandoline."  Jeff Wachter, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý music faculty member, will accompany Kuhlber on the piano.

 Kuhlber is a daughter of David and Diana Kuhlber, Grove City, and a graduate of Grove City High School.  She is a member of the concert choir and chamber sings, who have performed throughout the United States and Italy.  While at ¾¨Ó㴫ý Kuhlber has performed in of Opera Workshops and Theatre ¾¨Ó㴫ý musicals.  She is a member of the Choral Directors Association, Pennsylvania Collegiate Music Educators Association, Omicron Delta Kappa, the Music Intern Teaching Program, and Mu Phi Epsilon, a national music fraternity.
