The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Concert Choir will join the Shenango Valley Chorale and the Shenango Valley Chamber Orchestra to perform Mozart's "Requiem" Saturday, Feb. 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Sharon and Sunday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. at ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Orr Auditorium.
"This is a powerful work composed by Mozart during his final days," said Dr. Robin Lind, director of choral activities at ¾¨Ó㴫ý. "Edgar S. Groves will conduct the performance at the First Presbyterian Church and I'll conduct the performance during the Vesper Service at ¾¨Ó㴫ý."
Soloists include Susan Woge, alto; Susan Shafer, alto; Guy Russo, tenor; and Brian Ocock, bass. Raymond Ocock, ¾¨Ó㴫ý professor of music emeritus, is the organist.
