Dr. Charlene Klassen Endrizzi, associate professor of education at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, recently presented her research at the National Council of Teachers of English in San Francisco.
Endrizzi's presentation, "Family-Teacher Literacy Conversations: Unifying Home and School Learning Communities," provided an overview of her nine years of research with classroom teachers and parents.
"This research has invited parents and teachers to find common ground, and begin a dialogue about ways to support readers and writers at home and school," Endrizzi said.
Endrizzi earned her undergraduate and master's degrees from Fresno Pacific College, and her Ph.D. from the University of Arizona.
