Three ¾¨Ó㴫ý music majors recently attended master's classes given by Dr. Hans Davidsson, professor of organ at the Eastman School of Music, at St. Paul's Cathedral in Pittsburgh.

"Shelly Culver (junior from Frewsburg, N.Y.) performed Wachet auf, ruf uns die Stimme' by Bach in this class," said Dr. Elizabeth Harrison, assistant professor of music and college organist at ¾¨Ó㴫ý. "She was extremely responsive to Dr. Davidsson's teaching, to the organ, and to the audience, and her playing was impeccable. Only two other students played, and they were both graduate students."

Culver, who is a music education and sacred music major, is a daughter of Rickey and Susan Culver, and a graduate of Frewsburg Central High School.

Also attending the classes were: Erin Davis, a sophomore sacred music major from East Brady, who is a daughter of Tom and Barbara Davis, and a graduate of Karns City Area High School; and Jaimee Davis, a junior music and English major from Warren, Ohio, who is a daughter of James and Patricia Davis, and a graduate of Howland High School.

Harrison is the founder of the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Historic Organ Program in Cappel, Germany, which offers students an opportunity to study and play several historic organs.
