¾¨Ó㴫ý announces several personal enrichment and leisure courses to the community. Continuing Education classes and seminars are non-credit and are open to all interested individuals. Formal admission to ¾¨Ó㴫ý is not required.
Introduction to Computers for Beginners is scheduled Saturdays, March 2 and 9, at 10 a.m., and is taught Nelson Boosel. This fundamental course is designed for those who are new to the world of computers. The course will investigate terminology relating to personal computers, software, and hardware, as well as an introductory level of computer operations.


¾¨Ó㴫ý's Dr. Timothy Cuff, assistant professor of history, and Dr. Angela Lahr, visiting assistant professor of history, will present "Lame Horses, Cracked Engine Blocks, and $600 Toilet Seats: Two Hundred Years of Supplying the U.S. Military" Sunday, Feb. 25, at 1:30 p.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater of the McKelvey Campus Center.
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Wind Ensemble will present their first concert of the year Friday, Oct. 26, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.
Two teams from Dr. Jacque King's ¾¨Ó㴫ý capstone Strategic Management classes have qualified for the Business Strategy Game Invitational May 12-23.

Dr. Robin Lind, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of music and director of choral activities, is the guest conductor of the Washington County Chorus for a concert Friday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m. at Trinity High School.

Paige Turk, senior vice president for Farmers National Bank in Emlenton and a 1984 ¾¨Ó㴫ý graduate, will present the final fall semester program in ¾¨Ó㴫ý's "Get Real!" life preparation series Thursday, Nov. 19.
Research on a greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory conducted by three ¾¨Ó㴫ý students and their adviser was recently published in the online newsletter PA Environment Digest.

Dr. Bethany Hicok, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of English will present "Elizabeth Bishop in Brazil" at Faires Faculty Forum Wednesday, April 6, at 11:40 a.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater of the McKelvey Campus Center.
