Artist and art educator James Rettinger will be showcased in the Art Gallery of Patterson Hall at ¾¨Ó㴫ý from Oct. 15 to Dec. 14.
¾¨Ó㴫ý honored 52 employees for 1,006 years of combined service at a luncheon May 7 in the Witherspoon Rooms of the McKelvey Campus Center.

¾¨Ó㴫ý art professors Krista Birnbaum and Peggy Cox hosted a digital photography workshop for teachers Oct. 24.




The summer's activities at the Field Station involved children and adults of the College and the community getting to know interesting and useful facts of nature and applying those facts. That is how science operates.



On March 29 the Lucile Frey Nature Trail in the Field Station was presented and registered at a meeting of representatives of trails in 18 counties of Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio and the Panhandle of West Virginia.

Dr. Michael Bowen, ¾¨Ó㴫ý visiting assistant professor of history, contributed a chapter in Painting Dixie Red, an anthology edited by Glenn Feldman and recently published by University Press of Florida.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Dr. Thomas Oberst, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of physics and director of the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Planetarium, will present "Searching for Exoplanets" at the Faires Faculty Forum Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 11:40 a.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater of the McKelvey Campus Center.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - ¾¨Ó㴫ý senior psychology major Lyndsey Vogler and Dr. Sherri Pataki, associate professor of psychology, presented research conducted in Israel at the annual conference of the Association for Women in Psychology March 7-10 in Salt Lake City.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Dr. Kristenne Robison, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice studies, was recently published in the spring issue of the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) quarterly publication. She also presented research at the Innovations in Prisons Workshop, held at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs in April.
