Comedian Bob Newhart is coming to ¾¨Ó㴫ý Celebrity Series Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 8 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Symphonic Band will perform Friday, March 23, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.
Keri Conger, a senior music education major at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, will give a recital Sunday, Oct. 6, at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.

Dr. Camila Bari de López, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of Spanish, recently presented a paper at the 6th International Orbis Tertius' Conference on Literary Theory and Critism in Argentina.

Amanda Miller, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý junior English major from Pittsburgh, was awarded first place for her paper, "Cycles and Femininity in Nature," at the New Philosophy and Religious Studies Conference held at St. Francis University in Loretto, Pa., March 24.

The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Orchestra will present "A Holiday Celebration!" Sunday, Dec. 2, at 3 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.



Who can fail to at least hum along with the soundtrack of Julie Andrews singing "The hills are alive with the sound of . . . ." in the classic, Sound of Music? And here at the Field Station we know the world of ¾¨Ó㴫ý is alive when students arrive on the main campus and some of the adventurous ones find their way to the Field Station. Even first year students are getting out to this haven of nature. The presence of students is our life-blood. It keeps us alive and makes even non-singers sing!
¾¨Ó㴫ý's Chapel Drama will present Seussical the Musical Friday, April 3, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 5, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The performances are open to the public. An offering will be taken at intermission.
Fourteen ¾¨Ó㴫ý senior history majors and 20 senior sociology majors presented their capstone research Dec. 11.
The Titan Traverse staff will present "Strengths Finder," the first session of the fall semester in ¾¨Ó㴫ý's "Get Real!" life preparation series, Wednesday, Oct. 6.
