The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Preschool Lab celebrated the "Week of the Young Child" with a Parents Night April 1 in Old 77.

Dr. Daniel Perttu, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of music and composer, will speak on "An Excessive Musical Representation of Percy Shelley's 'Mont Blanc': Neo-Romanticism Derived from the Hybridization of Modernism with Romanticism and from the Violent Distention of Romantic Theory" at Faires Faculty Forum Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 11:40 a.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater in the McKelvey Campus Center.

Christopher Granger, ¾¨Ó㴫ý senior music education major, will present a piano recital Sunday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.

Dr. Jesse Mann, ¾¨Ó㴫ý vice president for academic affairs and Dean of the College, presented at the Council of Independent Colleges' (CIC) ninth annual Workshop for Department and Division Chairs, "Managing Multiple Roles and Responsibilities," June 2-4 in St. Paul, Minn.

Two ¾¨Ó㴫ý seniors were selected from a master class to perform in the Celebrity Series' Franc D'Ambrosio concert March 23.


Dr. Bryan Rennie, ¾¨Ó㴫ý Vira I. Heinz professor of religion, authored an article and served as guest co-editor for the international journal Archævs, Studies in the History of Religions, volume 15.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Devon Struthers, a psychology major who graduated from ¾¨Ó㴫ý in May, and Dr. Sandra Webster, professor of psychology, presented research at the American Psychological Convention Aug. 2-5 in Orlando, Fla.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Four students from the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Department of Biology presented their research at the Tri-Beta district convention March 23 at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Five ¾¨Ó㴫ý students attended the 34th Iroquois Club economic seminar April 16 in Conneaut Lake. They were accompanied by their faculty adviser Dr. Daniel Fischmar, professor of economics and business.
Fifteen students were awarded master of education degrees at ¾¨Ó㴫ý during commencement exercises Saturday, May 22.
